It was announced yesterday that TRUE BRITS is going to be published by Methuen in time for the Edinburgh run.

After an intense couple of weeks, I'm over the moon to announce that TRUE BRITS will be at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, in association with HighTide.

It'll be running the full four weeks, 31st July til 25th August, in the Baillie Room, Assembly Hall, at 5.40 P.M.

Think tickets will be on sale in June...will keep you all posted.

TRUE BRITS is one of 8 plays shortlisted for the award out of 232 entries.

In a nice way to cap off a busy few months, HighTide have announced that they are keeping me on as part of their Escalator Scheme programme for 2014. Details here.

Also, my short play PROCESS will be performed at Theatre503 on the 9th and 10th of February as part of Rapid Write Response.

Our iguanodon transitioned from king to queen and went on Saturday night in the Bush Attic. Script and a brief write up of the experience here if you're interested. Big, big hat tip to Sophie Lifschutz and Evelyn Hoskins, director and actor respectively - they know their onions.

I CAN SEE MY HOUSE FROM HERE,  a little film piece of mine that I adapted to the radio has been produced by The Invisible Theatre and released this morning.

Last night I took part in Theatre Renegade's "Courting Drama" speed dating night where directors and writers meet and pitch themselves at each other to see who to pair up for a shorts night at the end of the month. I.E. Drink, Talk, Cry (potentially).

Though all the directors were pretty damn delightful, my piece THE IGUANODON KING will be in the safe and talented hands of Sophie Lifschutz. Will get cracking on it soon!

Pleased to say that I've received Arts Council funding to develop TRUE BRITS. That means a few public readings and also annotated scripts available on this site that will show the progress between drafts, in response to feedback and dramaturgy. Exciting times!
